Our sleek Tux is diving into an open star cluster, The Pleiades. There is a good bit of symbolism in the design. The Pleiades, or M45, is easily visible to the naked eye in the northern hemisphere and includes well over 3000 stars (making it the right size for a very large openMosix cluster). The blue background for the star field is actually seen in visible light photos.
Why is Tux diving? Penguins are exceptional swimmers.
